This About KOS, Ph.D. page, like the rest of this blog, will be a work in progress. Yes, I am a “fake doctor”. I received my doctorate in molecular oncology and immunology. Ten or so years ago, I decided to throw my shoes back into the running ring and train for a couple of half and full marathons. I used to run cross country and track in high school but did not feel the need to continue with the sports during my undergraduate and graduate studies.
This blog will chronicle my adventures (and misadventures) in this sport/hobby with a few surprises along the way. While this blog originally started as a running blog, it seems to have expanded into a hodgepodge of randomness that includes traveling, checking interesting NYC bars and restaurants, random rants, rock climbing/bouldering, and (most recently) Eurovision Song Contest. Happy reading.
Good luck!

I am wishing you all the best for your big day. But looking at your training schedule, I am sure you will finish your marathon in a good time. Keep running! 😀

Yes. On paper, the training schedule looks great. It’s a matter of actually doing it. 😉
